Budget cuts at Rogers Vancouver

Carly and Jay, the major market show of the year runner ups for the Broadcast Dialogue Radio awards for two years in a row, were the caught up in budget cuts yesterday at Jack FM Vancouver.

Previously they were on Sonic and during a big shuffle earlier this year Christy and Fraser were hired to replace Drex, and then Meredith and Jason were cut to 3 hour shows and then Carly and Jay moved over to the 4-8 spot.

With the uncertain future at Sonic, it was inevitable that budgets could be a possibility.

Let’s hope Carly and Jay get picked up somewhere else. Both are incredible talents, and both former Edge Toronto staff.
