  1. This headline is rather asinine.

    Have you not heard of The Crystal Method? It is an EDM band that has sold millions of records. They were started back in the early 90s, and in their early days they had an employee named Crystal who was responsible for getting them to gigs. They admired her skills, and one of the guys kept referring to her ingenuity as “The Crystal Method.” When they organized to cut their first album, they loved the name and it stuck.

    EDM folks are just not meth heads. Other drugs, sure. Mainly MDMA.
    Many drag queens LOVE them some EDM tunes. I am pretty sure meth has nothing to do with anything in this name or article.

  2. I wouldn’t let it slide. The name is too close to the drug. Crystal Meth– that’s the shock name being touted Crystal Methyd just a way to slide the name across. Such shameful behaviour and use of such a name is part of the sickness and mental disorder of the queer and trans minority.
