RPM: Where Radio People Meet! is happy to announce the Roy Hennessy Achievement Award for Excellence in Broadcasting is now in place! Our partnersin the markets Roy worked have established an annual award in Roy’s name. Each year, the top student in their radio programs (based on academic standing, leadership, service and all-round achievement) will receive a $1000 scholarship award. Roy was a friend, an inspiration and a mentor to many of us, and this is a great way to celebrate his life, his career, and his passion: radio.
