Rogers lets go of approximately 20 staff

On November 19, Rogers cut around 20 positions from different departments including, Terry Chan and Alex Carr. Terry had been with Rogers for around 35 years and held the title of Assistant Content Director at JACK 96.9 Vancouver, Chan first joined Rogers in 1990 as an announcer, Music Director and Assistant Program Director at KISS 97.

Alex was the last remaining host on Sonic Vancouver. Now the on air lineup consists of Darren Worts from 12-6 Monday to Friday and he is based out of Jack Victoria.

Others let go were;

Jeff McKnight, the Imaging Producer behind its SONiC branded stations in Edmonton and Vancouver as well as STAR 95.9 Calgary, and the network of Adult Contemporary stations.

Meghan Spotswood, from Jack 102.3 London, who had been part of JACK Mornings with Stax, Meghan and Loop until the recent lineup changes that moved Loop to afternoons.

From the Frequency Podcast Network, Jordan Heath-Rawlings, host and executive producer of The Big Story, has parted ways with the company. Mary Jubran, an Audience Development Specialist and Digital Editor for the past four years was also released.
