Harvard makes cuts

Zenga McCurdy, who was heard on the 96.3 CRUZ FM Saskatoon morning show, as well as in Edmonton and Yorkton, was one of the staff cuts yesterday at Harvard stations.

Harvard Media made several “strategic staff adjustments” to offset escalating operational costs.

While declining to say how many employees are impacted – between job cuts and attrition – the staffing changes affect every market Harvard Media operates in, including Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Yorkton, Fort McMurray and Red Deer.

Currently (before yesterday) most hosts had shows airing on several stations. All as part of cost saving measures previously made by the company. With these new cuts I am going to assume there will be certain times of the day with zero on air staff.

  1. Sad to see these workers gone but I would be shocked if Grant and Jimmy from 95.7 cruz get let go because they have been with the station for a long time
