Harvard Media lets go of several staff in Calgary and Edmonton

Harvard Media let go of Calgary Program Director Jim McCourtie, who also was Vice-President of Local Media, Creative Director Darren Ollinger, and Assistant Program Director Matt Berry. Berry was with the company for 14 years and Ollinger has been with the company for 17 years.
Those departing the company include X92.9 (CFEX-FM) Calgary Program Director Jim McCourtie, who also held the title of Vice-President, Local Media; Music Director and Assistant Program Director Matt Berry; and Creative Director Darren Ollinger. Berry and Ollinger were both long-serving Harvard employees, with the company 14 and 17 years, respectively. Ollinger oversaw the Alberta creative team and wrote the majority of commercials and promotions.
In Edmonton Lochlin Cross, the morning show host, and Pam Kirby, the afternoon show host has been let go. Not sure about the status of Grant Johnson and James White, who were Lochlin’s cohosts.
