On Feb 13, 1967 The Beatles released the double A sided single ‘Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane’ on Capitol Records in the US. The single spent 10 weeks on the chart peaking at No.1. The video for the track presented the Beatles’ new group image, since all four now sported moustaches, following Harrison’s lead when he left for India in September 1966. In addition to a horseshoe moustache, Lennon wore his round “granny” glasses for the first time as a member of the Beatles.
