There are a lot less of Bells stations now

After all of the sales and almost all of the new owners taking over except the final 4 stations, the four brands Bell primarily uses have a lot less stations than before.

Virgin went from 12 down to 11, as there was only one sold.

Pure Country is down to 9 stations

Move Radio is down to 5 stations for now and soon to be 4

Bounce is down to 6 and soon to be 5.

I guess this is what happens when most of the programming is centralized from one or two areas. Thankfully with the station sales there have been new jobs at stations that were sold. Also a lot of the rebranding has been good, with lots of exciting changes.

I am still curious to see what happens at HTZ, Bounce and Move in the Niagara and Hamilton area. Especially HTZ as it used to be one of the most legendary stations in Southern Ontario. In fact that is on my presets in my car even though it doesn’t always come in clearly.

    1. There are currently 6. When Hamilton is taken over that will make 5. That is the last of the Bounce stations being sold
