Q92 Sudbury’s Mell Dahl retiring
She posted on her Facebook recently that she is retiring after almost 35 years. For those that do not know her work, she has volunteered within the community. Volunteering with the food bank, working with the Chamber of Commerce for International Women’s day. She mentors female announcers getting into the business. She has also worked with many different charities.
Mell is concluding a more than 40-year broadcasting career. Dahl began working with Q92 at station launch in 1990 as a morning host. She also hosted the noon-hour show, Midday Q, for a number of years, and more recently Sunday morning show, The Church of Rock.
Her final show will be Friday, Nov. 29.
