Song of the day for June 8, 2024
The Bitch is Back by Elton John is today’s featured song.
I picked this song because at 11:57pm on June 6, 102.7 Now Radio Vancouver played this song as its final song, before relaunching as The Peak. It made me smile hearing them have a little fun with the format change, as technically the Peak never left. They were always on the radio just on HD-2. The traditional signal was taken over by Now for almost 2 years. Now played this song as a way to introduce “The Bitch” being The Peak coming back. Or at least that is how I look at it.
