The title song from Metallica’s Master of Puppets album is today’s featured song.
On March 3, 1986, Metallica released their third studio album, Master of Puppets. Master of Puppets is the bands final album to feature bassist Cliff Burton, who died in an accident during the albums promotional tour. This album is considered to be the best metal album of all time, and one of my personal favourites.
The song was the band bassist’s, Cliff Burton’s, favorite one on the album, as he said when it was released. The song is also one of the band’s most famous and popular songs, frequently played at concerts.
