Zoomer radio officially launches in Owen Sound
This week ZoomerMedia officially takes over Bounce Radio in Owen Sound and has launched Zoomer Radio.
The station will feature the same Bounce Morning show, Ted Easton and Diana Meder will be featured on The Morning Zoom on weekdays from 6 to 10 a.m. From 2 to 6 p.m., Owen Sounder Cory Laycock returns to his hometown to host The Afternoon Show. Laycock will also be on tap for the All-Request Nooner. Diane Meder will also do the news at 3, 4, 5 and 6 p.m.
Sandwiched in between the morning and afternoon show, will be the top 10 at Ten and the next 11 at Eleven hosted by Robbie Lane, along with the Number 1s at One. Lane is back in the evening with the 60s at Six, 70s at Seven, 80s at Eight, and 90s at Nine. At 10 p.m. will be Theatre of the Mind, featuring classic drama and comedy, followed by Stardust love songs at 11 p.m. and the risque music of Midnight Blue at midnight, followed by the all-night jukebox.

On the weekends, “we go crazy” Stevens said, with Saturday evening shows that include The British Invasion, The XX celebrating women in music and then Saturday Night Bandstand.
Sunday’s lineup includes shows like Vintage Favourites, The Immortals, as well as Zoomers, Crooners and Songbirds, Radio Limelight and Big Band Sunday Night.
This station is going to feature a lot of different sounds throughout the day and will cater to a lot more people throughout the region. This station should be a welcome change for Owen Sound and area.
