MBC has started programming former Bell Stations

This morning Bounce Radio Brockville and Move Radio Brockville and Kingston as well as Pure Country Kingston have all been rebranded, and the operations have officially switched to MBC.

The new stations are, 103.7 Giant FM replacing Bounce in Brockville. Move Radio is 104.9 MYFM, and in Kingston Move Radio is 98.3 Fly FM and Pure Country is now New Country 98.9

The official changes are still to come later this week. But the new branding is showing on the iHeartradio app.

This is posted on the Kingston Daily website,

My Broadcasting Corporation is now the official owner and operator of 98.3 CFLY FM, 98.9 CKLC FM, and 103.7 CJPT-FM after purchasing the stations from Bell Media.

The Canadian owners also own and operate WOW-FM, based in Cape Vincent.

The plans for the stations will be revealed later this week.

All the staff remain, local news will increase, and your opinion matters too—you can fill out a listener survey by clicking here

The website for the Brockville stations is here but there is yet to be any names with the radio stations so it is just generic. But if you were to go to the Bounce radio website for Brockville it tells you the new station is Giant FM.

Same for the two move radio websites and the Pure Country website. All the sites tell you the new station names already.

Kingston and Brockville are in good hands with MBC taking over. There will be a lot of local news and more of the on air shows will be aimed at the local communities.
