On this date in 2021 a sketchbook used by Radiohead during the recording of their 1995 album The Bends was sold at auction, going under the hammer for $6,350. Left behind during rehearsals in an Oxfordshire barn in 1994, the A2 book contained sketches and chords related to the band’s sophomore album along with lyrics to unreleased tracks ‘Too Easy’, ‘Idiot Boy’, and ‘Dead Bank Clerk’ as well as classic songs such as the record-closing ‘Street Spirit (Fade Out)’.
