Jack White's solo live version of "Seven Nation Army," originally by The White Stripes, has become a staple of his shows since the band split. The solo rendition features a full live band instead of the original duo. In 2003, White faced assault charges after an altercation with Jason Stollsteimer and later plead guilty.

Today’s song is a solo live version of Seven Nation Army, originally by The White Stripes. Since the White Stripes split up and Jack White started his solo career this song has been the staple of all his shows. The solo version also contains a full live band instead of the normal 2 person version that was originally recorded by The White Stripes.

On December 24, 2003 Jack turned himself in to Detroit police to face aggravated assault charges stemming from a bar room altercation in which he allegedly attacked Jason Stollsteimer of The Von Bondies. White was also fingerprinted and formally booked on the charges before he was released on bail. He later plead guilty to assaulting singer Jason Stollsteimer of the Von Bondies. The White Stripes frontman must pay fine and take anger management classes
