"The Great Gig In The Sky," a track from Pink Floyd's album Dark Side of the Moon, broke the Billboard albums chart record in 1983, spending a total of 880 weeks on a chart. The song, released in 1973, features Richard Wright's music and Clare Torry's vocal improvisation. It was re-released as a digital single in 2023, celebrating the album's 50th anniversary.

Dark Side remains on the chart until 1988, when it drops off with 724 weeks. Thanks to reissues and promotions, it returns from time to time, notching over 880 weeks on the chart in total.
