The song for today is a cover of a song from an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical by a Finnish symphonic metal band.
Today’s song is from the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish and it is their cover version of The Phantom Of The Opera. I picked a live version because the band has such a great stage presence that you just need to watch them perform. This song was released on the 2002 album Century Child, the bands fourth album. It is the first Nightwish album to feature an orchestra. This song if you closed your eyes you would think you were watching the musical of The Phantom Of The Opera and I am sure Andrew Lloyd Webber enjoyed this cover.
