Stingray shuts two TV stations down

According to a post on CITL-TVs website, both CITL and CKSA-TV are going off air.

A Fond Farewell to CITL and CKSA

It is with deep appreciation and a heavy heart that we announce CITL-TV and CKSA-TV are going off the air, effective immediately.

For decades, CITL and CKSA have been proud to serve our communities, sharing local stories, connecting neighbours, and celebrating the spirit of our region. This decision was not made lightly and comes after careful consideration of the evolving media landscape and the challenges facing local television broadcasting.

We are profoundly grateful to our loyal viewers, dedicated staff, and everyone who welcomed us into their homes over the years. Your support, trust, and engagement have been the foundation of our stations’ success and sense of purpose.

While this chapter is ending, the memories and connections created will always remain a cherished part of our legacy. We thank you for allowing CITL and CKSA to be part of your lives.

Thank you for your understanding and support. For further information, visit https://corporate.stingray.com/press-releases/

Both channels operated in Lloydminster, one as a CTV affiliate and one as a City TV affiliate.
