Could Now be leaving Vancouver?

There was a post made on a different radio forum suggesting that The Peak may return to Vancouver. I haven’t been able to confirm but from all the information I do have, it seems that cutting down the on air staff and bringing in two out of market shows was the first step to trying to revitalize the format. Because the format has not worked out, it seems more likely that The Peak will return. Most likely it will return with a small on air staff. Maybe one or two staff that are already within the Pattison family.

My understanding is since the Peak moved to HD-2 and online only the daily listeners are similar to that of Now. So it makes sense to move to the format back to the main frequency.

If Now does change I will keep this updated.
