Some news about the site
1 min readI know this news may come as a surprise to some, but I have decided that I am going to refer all my Washington state news to qzvx.com for all the updates. You can also check out radioinsight.com for other radio news.
I live to far from Washington state and I live in Canada so it is harder for me to get all the news as it happens. I do get some news and tips from some sources but I feel that I don’t get enough.
I will still focus on Canadian news, and some US and some Satellite radio news as I get it. I want to thank Gord Lansdell for starting this site and creating a good following of people from Washington state. I am sorry that I can’t give that area the attention it deserves.
This site is useless now. Sorry mate. The layout is hideous and the news irrelevant. You need to fix this asap before everyone is gone, if it’s not already too late.
Thank you for the feedback. I am still adding news to the site, I am just not connected enough to Washington state for news there. Currently I get a decent number of people to my site, and the song of the day posts get decent viewers.
I am sorry you feel the way you do. How would you suggest I fix the website?
I didn’t mean to sound harsh, but the layout is bad, do you read left to right up or down? So many story pics the same… I just feel the layout needs to be more list like reading downward. Way easier to follow and see if there is anything new. Not so concerned about Washington news as I am in Canada as well. Thanks Mate!
so at the top of the page there is the menu bar and the scrolling headlines, and then below it is the recent news and top trending posts. below that there is all the posts in order of when they were posted. Newest to oldest. Then from there at the bottom you can go page by page and see more posts. On the side you can select category and see just what is appealing for you, whether it’s BC, Alberta, Ontario, National, whatever. There will also be a summary of recent comments so if you see something that catches your eye you can click on it and go to the post. Sorry if the site seems a little confusing with the layout. Also when there is minimal activity by me on here there is a lot of repeated stuff at the top. So I am trying to add more content regularly as well. More stuff will be coming soon.
You need to focus more on local radio happenings like the dreadful changes to the late night programming on weekdays on NW also add the whole weekend with eastern based programming I haven’t seen any comments how bad it is.
