According to a filing with the CRTC Durham Radio Inc. is looking to add a repeater for its Wave FM station. Currently there is a lot of interference on the frequency from Star FM Chilliwack. They have applied for 98.7 which will face some interference as well but between the two frequencies more people will be able to tune into the station.

The rebroadcaster will be 6000 watts. Between the two the range should be able to bring listeners from across Metro Vancouver.
